A Pinteresty Halloween

Halloween is probably one of my favorite holidays. I love all the decorations. BUT being a newlywed I can't just splurge to dec our apartment out. So I turned to the glorious Pinterest for some ideas.

This is my favorite piece. I got a pool noodle for $1 and duct taped the ends together and wrapped black boas around. I used Michaels and Hobby lobby coupons for the Boa.

I got this vase for free from Ulta for buying some perfume YEARS ago. I filled it with ornaments from Hobby Lobby (half off, super cheap). The "BOO" sign is from the dollar section at Target!

These were a Pinterest fail! They are supposed to be these pretty tissue paper poms. I was going to do these for every holiday. First of all the tissue rips so easily. I ripped it so many times, such a headache. I will NEVER do this again!

Our Home

We're MARRIED! Hopefully Craig and I will post our dating and marriage story on here so we can fill everyone in on our wonderful adventure. For now, we will start with our apartment.
We moved in the beginning of August. It was hot and we live on the 3rd floor, I'm pretty sure Craig never wants to move. After that our married life began by putting stuff together: bookshelves, desks, etc... and my husband has now asked me that everything we buy comes fully assembled.
We love our apartment though! It has two bedrooms so Craig can prepare his seminary lessons in peace and so I can have my own closet (which is full!). We also have two sinks which is now a necessity in our life. We will never be able to share a bathroom again.
Craig has done so well letting me decorate. He has put up with a zebra rug, purple bathroom, and teal and black bedroom.
I will try to post pictures - since you are dying to see it! But for now, I just have a few!
